Closing Iowa City restaurants and clubs to college students will dramatically change our vibrant downtown.
The result:
- Iowa City will no longer be the Midwest destination for local and national musicians.
- Our varied and diverse local shops, restaurants and businesses will suffer. Many will close.
- Our unique downtown atmosphere pulsating with live entertainment and vital local businesses will disappear, replaced with empty store fronts.
