Help maintain our quiet and safe neighborhoods. Prevent the inevitable increase of unmanageable, unsafe house parties disbursed throughout our community. Keep our neighborhoods free from increased drunken and disorderly conduct and stop the unavoidable increase in drunk driving.

Help us preserve and protect the vitality of downtown Iowa City.

Closing Iowa City restaurants and clubs to college students will dramatically change our vibrant downtown.

The result:

• Iowa City will no longer be the Midwest destination for local and national musicians.
• Our varied and diverse local shops, restaurants and businesses will suffer. Many will close.
• Our unique downtown atmosphere pulsating with live entertainment and vital local businesses will disappear, replaced with empty store fronts.
